Choosing suitable clothes for your vacation overseas is an important consideration. Factors to consider include the degree of formality wanted, and the local climate.
For practical reasons your clothes should be easy to pack and resist creasing when crushed. Fabrics which contain Lycra keep their shape well and will require less ironing when unpacked.
Short dresses are much more acceptable in the hot, informal atmosphere of a vacation abroad. Halter-necks, spaghetti straps and off-the-shoulder styles are especially suitable for a hot climate.
