Playa Coyote, Costa Rica, is situated halfway between Samara and Mal Pais, south of Rio Coyote. Follow the road signs "Punto Coyote". This place is one of the most beautifull and unspoiled places of Costa Rica. The big horseshoe beach length is a 2 hour walk, you have to cross 2 rivers and it brings you from Punto Coyote in the south to San Miguel in the north. South of Rio Coyote you find the most popular part. In the week after Christmas and the weeks around Easter some Costa Ricans spend vacation here. Also in the weekends it brings some people to the beach.In the rainy season you can spend weeks with the locals without seeing strangers. Allmost all the photos are shot in the area from Caletas to Rio Coyote.This is less than 2 km.
